Hey there and welcome! I’m Katherine — the maker, mama, and heart behind Southern Craft Gifts. I’m a wife, stay-at-home mom, and homeschooling mom to two beautiful little girls. Creating with my hands has always brought me joy, and now I get to share that passion with you through my handmade crochet and knit goods. My crafting journey began when I was just 8 or 9 years old, learning the basics of crochet from my mom. She didn’t read patterns, so when I later stumbled upon a stack of crochet books, I was determined to teach myself — and I’ve been hooked ever since (pun totally intended!). Knitting came next, thanks to a teach-yourself kit, and from there, my love for yarn and handmade creations truly blossomed.
